Nina is a skilled practitioner in designing and implementing strategic change in organizations. Her emotional intelligence and ability to build teams innately grows individuals and their causes. Her international and domestic experiences and fluency in four languages (German, Portuguese, Spanish, English), has motivated and fueled a steadfast curiosity with the teams she has led and supported to create holistic environments and sustainable progress.
Her people-centric nature and high cross-cultural awareness have offered her a plethora of opportunities and great stories to tell. From meeting with the Nobel Peace Prize winner and President of Costa Rica, Oscar Arias, to successfully influencing leaders to grow their companies across business units in their respective home countries, her collaborative and tactful communication style has road mapped a proven track record. Her focus is always on building strong long-term, internal and external, partnerships, that inspire win-win outcomes.
She has worked with a wide range of clients in the healthcare, banking, automotive and leisure industries, leading a broad range of efforts. Through her coaching style, Nina aims to develop strong leaders that can lead elite, independent teams, and their organizations. She is known for creating a highly collaborative, tailored approach to address the rapidly evolving business landscape resulting in change that is much more holistic and sustainable, versus a standardized framework of analyzing and solving problems.
Nina is a life-long learner and presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her doctoral focus and ambition are to create a deeper understanding of how and why some global leaders exhibit a resilient profile and greater aptitude to lead when others do not. She affirms that our complex business environment needs global minded leaders who are prepared to function and address challenges from a cross-cultural perspective.
Nina is a community-focused servant leader and passionate about making the world and her community a better place. She has served as president of Christian Associates, Portugal, a nonprofit board to build stability and opportunity for those less fortunate. Locally, she serves as a board member for International Business Society (Technology Association). And a graduate of the United Way VIP board program. She is a fun-loving mom of three young adults and a sassy wife to her husband Rich. They live in Atlanta with their dog Bentley. Lastly, but certainly not least, avid travelers, and foodies.
